THIS WEEK’S UPDATES 📈
1./ Rainbow Six Siege’s Biggest Update Yet is Coming 🔥

Ubisoft has teased the "biggest transformation yet" for Rainbow Six Siege, with a full reveal coming March 13 at the Siege X Showcase in Atlanta, Georgia.
Expect improved graphics and audio, deeper more tactical gameplay, and exciting "new ways to play." While specific details remain a mystery, these upgrades promise a fresh and enhanced experience.
A new operator has also been teased. Meet Rauora, the newest operator from New Zealand, joining the game in Year 10 Season 1 as part of the Operation Prep Phase battle pass. Her gear? A DOM smart bulletproof barrier that doubles as a doorway sensor and is perfect for attackers. It’s bulletproof but has some counters like explosives and certain gadgets.
Released in 2015, Rainbow Six Siege remains one of Ubisoft's flagship live-service games, continuing to thrive nearly a decade later. The game regularly receives significant updates, including full cross-play functionality and enhanced anti-cheat measures, such as instant permanent bans for cheaters.
While rumours of a sequel persist, creative director Alexander Karpazis has expressed confidence in the game's longevity, stating it could "last forever." This sentiment underscores Ubisoft's commitment to the title, as the company doubles down on its shift towards open-world and live-service experiences.

2/ Drink Responsibly, Dwarf Recklessly – Official DRG Mug Is Here! 🎉

The officially licensed Deep Rock Galactic beer mug is now available for fans, offering a stylish way to toast "rock, stone and Karl" in true dwarf spirit. Currently, it's being crowdfunded through a Kickstarter campaign, which has smashed its initial €250,000 goal, raising a whopping €583,000 from nearly 4,000 backers so far.
The mugs aren't cheap—starting at €55 (around £46). They're dishwasher and microwave safe, suitable for hot drinks, and meet EU and FDA standards. Just don't go tossing them around like a reckless dwarf!
The campaign also features add-ons like themed coasters, bottle openers, and bar mats for those wanting to go all out on their dwarf bar setup. 🍺
It's wonderful to see such dedication and effort being poured into creating merchandise for passionate gamers.

3/ Skateboarding Easter Egg in Black Ops 6 Points to Major Tony Hawk Announcement! 🛹

Black Ops 6’s Grind map is serving up some serious nostalgia and a big teaser for Tony Hawk fans. 🛹
Here’s the deal:
Grind, the iconic skatepark map from BO2 and BO4, is back in Black Ops 6 with a fresh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed makeover (graffiti and all). But there’s more to the story....
Hidden within the new Grind map is a clear nod to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. Players have spotted a sign featuring a skateboarder silhouette that matches the THPS 1+2 logo. Plus, there’s a date—03.04.25—hinting at a big reveal coming soon. (see screenshot above!)
Why is this exciting?
Back in 2020, we got the stunning remasters of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. Fans hoped for THPS 3 and 4 remasters, but Activision didn’t greenlight them.
Recently, pro skater Tyshawn Jones spilled the beans on a radio show, saying he’s part of a “new Tony Hawk” project that’s being remastered.
Oh, and the kicker? Tony Hawk himself replied to the Grind easter egg on Twitter with 👀. If that’s not confirmation, I don’t know what is.
Mark your calendars for March 4th, 2025. Looks like we’re getting a Tony Hawk announcement! 🛹✨
4/ New Era for Team Fortress 2? Source Code Release Lets Fans Create Mods and Free Games 🎨

Valve just made Team Fortress 2 fans very happy 🎮. They've released the full client and server source code, giving the community the freedom to modify, expand, or even completely rebuild TF2—as long as it's for non-commercial use!
Here’s the quick rundown:
Huge update to the Source SDK: The update makes everything from small tweaks to full game overhauls possible.
Create new TF2 games for free: Fans and modders can build entire new games and share them, as long as they remain non-commercial.
Mods on the Steam Store: Finished TF2 mods can be published on Steam and will show up as new games in the store.
Extras in the SDK: Updates include 64-bit support, a scalable HUD/UI, and fixes for other Source engine multiplayer games like Counter-Strike and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.
Valve gave a shoutout to the TF2 community, acknowledging their massive contribution through the Steam Workshop. They're encouraging creators to respect players' inventory investments and avoid mods that profit off others' work. 🤝
It’s a big win for modders and gamers alike—time to see what creative magic the TF2 community will bring to life! 🚀
